About Kentarah Siberians

We are a small hobby breeder, located in Albany, Oregon.  Getting to know these beloved creatures has

been such a joy.   Breeding animals has been a life long interest of Sarah's;  living on a farm in the country and breeding rabbits for 4-H, as well as learning about genetics and biology in science classes.  In researching cats online, we found out about the Siberian Breed, and the tendency of this breed to be easier on those troubled with cat allergies.  As Sarah has been diagnosed with cat allergies, this was amazing.  We met with several breeders in the area, and brought our first Siberian home.  This was June, 2007, and since then we have brought home another female, and a male.  Afelien, Hanika, and Jakushka have added so much fun and joy to our family, and we continue to be amazed by them each day.  Our cats are well respected members of our family, with run of the house.  They do have their own room, where they can go to find some peace and quiet if they desire.  Most of the time, our cats prefer to be out and about, playing with and observing the children, and tussling with our puppy, Bella.  In fact, Jakushka, or "Jack" as we call him, thinks that Bella is his litter mate, and they spend much of their time wrestling and grooming each other.   They love to take naps, stretched out on the floor in the sun, or curled up on the sofa.  When we have been away, the cats greet us at the door, waiting for some much anticipated affection.  We cannot imagine our home without them.
